SCREEN PRINTING FOR CUSTOM APPAREL & BRANDED MERCHANDISE
Screen printing is one of the most reliable ways to produce bold, durable designs on clothing and merchandise. Using specialist mesh screens and high-quality spot colour inks, Merch Mill applies your artwork directly onto the garment for a strong, long-lasting finish.
Whether you need a simple one-colour logo, a detailed multi-colour design or a full run of branded apparel, screen printing is a great choice for professional garments that look sharp and hold up well over time.
It is well suited to corporate clothing, staff uniforms, event merchandise, promotional campaigns, retail-style apparel, branded hoodies, printed t-shirts and bulk merchandise orders.

BEST USES
Screen printing is ideal for corporate uniforms, staff t-shirts, event merchandise, promotional giveaways, branded hoodies, retail-quality merch, charity campaigns, sports clubs, music merchandise, product launches, conference apparel and large campaign rollouts.
It is a strong choice when you need a clean, durable print that can be produced consistently across a full order.

ARTWORK
Not sure whether your artwork is ready for screen printing? Send it to us and we will check the file, advise on colour separation, recommend the best print size and confirm the most suitable production method for your garments.
Vector artwork is preferred, such as AI, EPS, PDF or SVG files. High-resolution artwork may also be accepted depending on the design. Pantone references are helpful if brand colour matching is important.

QUALITY CONTROL
Every order is checked throughout production to make sure print placement, colour, coverage and curing meet our standards. From artwork review and colour matching to screen preparation, print setup, curing, quality control and packing, our process is designed to deliver consistent results across the full order.
WHAT IS SCREEN PRINTING
Screen printing is a garment decoration method where each colour in your design is printed through its own mesh screen. Your artwork is separated into individual colours, screens are prepared for each layer, and ink is pushed through the mesh directly onto the garment. The print is then cured to create a durable, washable finish.
Unlike digital printing, screen printing uses individual spot colour inks. These can be mixed to closely match your brand colours, including Pantone references, making it a strong option for businesses that need reliable branding across uniforms, merchandise and promotional clothing.
The result is a bold, clean print that works especially well for logos, text, solid graphics and strong brand artwork.
WHY CHOOSE SCREEN PRINTING?
Screen printing is popular because it gives garments excellent colour depth and a professional finish. It's a great choice when you want your design to look crisp, vibrant and made to last.
A properly cured screen print is designed to withstand regular washing and wear, making it ideal for clothing that will be used repeatedly. This makes it a strong option for workwear, staff uniforms, event apparel, retail merchandise and promotional products.
Screen printing can also be cost-effective for volume. Once the screens are set up, the same design can be printed across the full production batch, which makes it well suited to larger orders and wholesale t-shirt printing.
It is a flexible method too. We can print simple chest logos, large back prints, sleeve prints, multi-colour artwork and campaign graphics across a wide range of garments.
SCREEN PRINTING FOR SMALL & LARGE ORDERS
Whether you need a short run of printed t-shirts for a team event or a larger order for a campaign, launch or corporate rollout, we can help you choose the right setup for your project.
The cost of screen printing depends on a few key details, including the number of garments, number of print colours, number of print positions, garment choice, artwork complexity, ink type and turnaround requirements.
Send us your artwork, quantity and garment ideas, and we will recommend a suitable production route for your order.
INK OPTIONS
Different garments and designs need different inks. We will help you choose the right option based on the fabric, artwork, colour requirements and finish you want to achieve.

WATERBASED INKS
Water-based inks soak into the fabric rather than sitting heavily on top of it, creating a softer and more breathable finish. They are a good option for customers looking for a more natural feel and a lower-impact print method.

PLASTISOL INKS
Plastisol inks are a popular choice for screen printing because they are versatile, durable and great for producing strong, vibrant colours. Their thicker texture makes them ideal for bold logos, bright artwork and prints that need to stand out.

HYBRID INKS
Hybrid inks combine some of the benefits of plastisol and water-based systems. They offer strong colour performance, a good feel and excellent versatility across a wide range of garments.
